After Raul Gil announced his departure from SBT at the age of 86 after 14 years, Danielle Beiruti, Silvio Santos’ daughter and current CEO of the station, decided to speak out. The executive shared a statement on Friday the 6th, thanking him for the time he dedicated to the company.
First, Daniela Beyruti shared a photo of the group Come and More and announced: “Thank you to everyone who participated in this project. Thank you to Michel Barros Regina Volpato and Paulo Matias for being part of our history”, all three names mentioned were rejected by S.P.T.
He then shared the face of CEO Raul Gill and talked about his departure from the station.
“You will always be dear to us. Thank you for being a part of our story,” he wrote.
Raul Gill was fired from SBT
Raul Gill announced his departure from SBT via social media. In his farewell, he thanked the team, the working group and the audience, highlighting the audience.
“Today we say goodbye to an unforgettable journey, S.P.D. . It was 14 successful years, marked by moments that moved, entertained and brought Brazilian families closer. The Raul Gil project has always had the aim of being more than entertainment: we bring hope, love, unity and affection to every home.”
In her statement, Daniela Beiruti also clarified that the decision came from Raul Gil .
“Silvio Santos himself made me a partner, and in these 14 years, I have achieved so many achievements that I don’t care about standing still. Life goes on, and so does SBT. Daniela [Beyruti] who promoted some changes at SBT, and I wish her all the best. May you be very happy in your new assignment!”
SBT is undergoing restructuring; understandably so
The dismissal of Raul Gil was not the only change in the station. Marcão do Povo was transferred to the first impact. The expectation that José Luis Dathena would take office has been long . To date, the SPD has not confirmed the information , according to Terra .
